Begin with a visit to the Citadel, where you'll enjoy stunning panoramic views of the city while exploring the ancient ruins that tell the story of Amman's rich past. Then, head to the Roman Theater, a majestic reminder of the city's Roman heritage, followed by a stop at the Jordan Museum, where you'll immerse yourself in the nation's history through a fascinating collection of artifacts.
Afterward, visit the Iraq Al-Amir Women Cooperative Society, an inspiring program that trains local women in traditional crafts, helping them gain skills, independence, and the opportunity to contribute to their community. It’s a meaningful visit that connects you to the heart of Jordanian culture.
In the evening, return to Amman for some free time to relax or explore at your leisure.
Day 3: Amman – Jerash – Amman
After breakfast, you’ll journey to Jerash, fondly called the Pompeii of the East. Here, you’ll discover some of the best-preserved Roman ruins outside of Rome.
Spend the day wandering the iconic cardo, a grand colonnaded street, and explore the remarkable South Theatre, Temple of Zeus, Hadrian’s Arch, and the Artemis Temple. Don’t miss the Nymphaeum and the 14 Byzantine-era churches, adorned with intricate mosaics that add to the city’s timeless charm.
This afternoon, consider adding the optional experience of a relaxing Turkish Bath (additional information below).
Tonight, enjoy a warm welcome dinner with a local Jordanian family. This unique hosted dinner not only offers a chance to savor traditional flavors but also provides a meaningful cultural exchange, where you’ll learn about local customs and traditions in a personal and enriching way.

This afternoon, unwind and indulge in the timeless ritual of a relaxing Turkish bath. A rejuvenating experience designed to soothe both body and mind with a combination of warmth, steam, and gentle exfoliation.
Begin in the warm, steamy rooms as the heat eases away tension, then move through progressively hotter chambers, followed by a refreshing rinse that leaves you feeling completely revitalized. It’s the ultimate way to unwind and restore your energy, offering a perfect blend of relaxation and rejuvenation.
Day 4: Amman – Madaba – Wadi Rum
Today, after eating breakfast, you’ll journey along the storied King’s Highway—a route traveled for over 5,000 years—on your way to Wadi Rum. En route, make a stop in Madaba, also nicknamed the City of Mosaics, to visit St. George’s Church, where a stunning sixth-century mosaic map reveals the ancient layout of Jerusalem and the Holy Land.
Just beyond, you’ll visit Mount Nebo, the revered hilltop believed to be the site of Moses’ death and burial, offering sweeping views across the Jordan Valley.
By late afternoon, arrive at your Bedouin camp in Wadi Rum, where private tents with en-suite baths await. Tonight’s dinner is zaarb, a traditional Bedouin meal of marinated meat and vegetables, slow cooked beneath the desert sands.
Day 5: Wadi Rum – Petra
Start your day with breakfast while soaking in the breathtaking landscape of Wadi Rum, where golden desert sands, towering mountains, and ancient riverbeds stretch endlessly across the otherworldly landscape.
This morning, savor cardamom-laced coffee with local hosts at the Beau Geste Outpost, offering a moment of connection and hospitality before setting off on a thrilling 2-hour jeep ride. Wind through vast valleys and dramatic rock formations that have starred in epic films like Lawrence of Arabia, making you feel as though you’ve stepped onto a movie set.

Afterward, gather around the table to enjoy the meal you’ve prepared, sharing stories and flavors in a warm, communal setting.
Day 6: Petra
Following breakfast at the hotel, you’ll embark on a guided city tour through Petra’s most fascinating sites. Step into the Roman Theater, carved directly into the rock and once seating thousands for live performances. Explore Qasr Bint Pharaoun, a grand Nabataean temple thought to have housed royalty, and walk among the ruins of the Temple of the Winged Lion, believed to be a sacred space dedicated to a powerful goddess.
As one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, Petra is overflowing with archaeological discoveries and stories shaped by Arab empires and both Eastern and Western dynasties. While exploring its intricate sandstone passageways, you’ll come across the breathtaking Al-Khazneh (the Treasury), where camels lounge nearby as if waiting for their photo op.
Finish the day with a delicious dinner at the Al Qantarah restaurant.
Day 7: Petra – Dead Sea
After breakfast, begin your journey to the final destination of your trip: the legendary Dead Sea.
Your first visit is to Beida, nicknamed “Little Petra” for its resemblance to the main site. Here, you’ll explore ancient temples, tombs, and pathways once used for religious gatherings, festivities, and community life.
Following this, you’ll head to Bethany Beyond the Jordan, a revered pilgrimage site believed to be where John the Baptist lived and where Jesus was baptized. Located along the east bank of the Jordan River, this sacred place also offers striking views across the water to Israel.
Conclude the day by continuing to your hotel on the shores of the Dead Sea—an iconic place to relax and reflect.
Day 8: Dead Sea
Begin the day by fueling up with a delicious breakfast.
